Creativity in problem solving!

Friends we encounter a number of problems in our day to day life. Sometimes we have the solutions at hand and we realize it but most of the time people think it is not possible to solve. Creativity is a tool in which you use your Right Brain. I don’t want to supply you a jargon ‘Right Brain”.
In our brain the largest part is Cerebral Hemisphere or cerebrum. Whatever conscious thinking we do ,it is the cerebrum which process it. We have two cerebral hemispheres in our brain.
When we talk about Right Brain we would mean right cerebral hemisphere and about left we mean left cerebral hemisphere. The wires( nerves) carrying messages to and from your left half of your body goes to the Right Brain and from the right half of your body to the left.
One of the hemisphere is dominant.This dominance depends on handedness. If you are right handed ,your left brain is dominant and if you are left handed right brain in most of the cases.
Mostly people use left brain. Creativity requires the use of Right brain. To gain excellence in creativity you need to train your Right Brain.
Now how to train your Right Brain?
The best way is to do things in a way you are not accustomed to.For example: If you shave with your right hand daily, you try to use your left hand.If you do not do painting, try to paint. If you write with your right hand try to write with left hand.
Any unaccustomed work creates strengthening of your Right Brain and make you creative.
Now we would try to understand creativity by example. Suppose you have to go to Delhi from Patna. You think as many option as possible for your journey. List those options irrespective of the idea without locking your thoughts for feasibility. You can think over N number of ways like:
-going by flight
-going by helicopter
-going on foot
-going on bycycle
-running
-by helicopter
-going on horse
etc.
So in problem solving by creativity, you list all the ideas or solutions you can think or imagine.
After compilation of ideas or solution check which idea suits you or which solution suits you. You are allowing your Right Brain in compilation of ideas or solution. On execution part you may also think of possible modus operandi using your Right Brain.
Finally when you jump to the solution for a problem simply based on prior learning or think there is no solution at all you use your Left Brain. And your perimetry of solution is narrowed and the solution which beyond your perimetry is not visible to you. You are not allowing yourself to think out of the box.
Most of the discoveries are the result of use of Right Brain.
