We the human beings, are blessed with enormous mental power.About 14 lac years ago our species manifested on the earth.The time with full of natural uncertainities and technological helplessness.If we glimpse our evolutionary history,and compare with what we are today,we can find that we have surpassed all the species in our development and well being.Though for some scholarof life sciences,this may be exaggeration,but most of us agree with this fact.
Have you ever thought what is the fundamental cause of such a vast technological change, from stone age to cyber age?The human mind!Yes!All the great monuments,man made structures,bridges,towers first made in human mind,then on paper and finally erected on land.
So the importance of mind power can not be overemphasized.
Health by definition itself includes mental wellbeings.Apart from this your physical and social wellbeings are also modified by your mind.
It is the mental power the power of belief,which operates in placebo effect.This mental power can be exploited to attain health.
How to use mental power for self healing-
Step 1.Understand about your body structures.
Step 2.Converge your all mental energy.This step needs to be elaborated.We spread our mental energies in the multidirectional thoughts.Specially the thoughts which are painful and negative.Thoughts about uncertainities of life.Thoughts regarding interpersonal relationships.Thoughts regarding food,courtship and mating.Thoughts regarding the sense of guilt for social and spiritual wrong doings.Thoughts regarding goals and ambition.There is a substantial pull from multiple direction on our mind by those thoughts.So the convergence of mental energy to a single direction seems imposible.It is not impossible but difficult because you are the part of your that mental system.Eastern school of thoughts have devised many different ways to attain the focussed mind.
If you want to attain that state you first increase your awareness of your physical body.Be aware of your all the senses in the realtime.Feel the clothes you are wearing,feel the warmth or coldness of your environment.Whatever you do,practise to be fully in that venture.Do one task at a time.When you eat try to eat in full awareness.See the beautiful dish,feel the texture of food by your finger,feel the taste of your morsel,smell the aroma of your preparation.I mean to say,when you eat ,eat in toto,when you play,play in totality,when you drive,drive in totality.Allow all the sensory impulse to reach your cerebral cortex with full acknowledgement.When you achieved this state of total awareness,you can start having awareness to your thought process.Try to practise awareness of all your thoughts.If you want to be successful in this stage,you need to be a witness of your thoughts.Just watch your thoughts coming and going.Slowly all those thoughts would be reduced and you are ready to focus your mental energy.
Another easier way to attain this is just get aware of your breathing process.Aware that you are inhaling air and exhaling air.If you even do this exercise of complete awareness of your breathing process,your all the distracting thoughts would be vanished.Further if you hold the are after deep inhalation,for 5 to 6 seconds your will power gets boosted.At that moment if you have any positive thought or positive affirmation that is only one and without any negative words in it;you would be successful in achieving that entity.
Step 3 When you achieved the focused state take full breathe and draw your attention to your body parts one by one and speak mentally ” you are completely healthy” Repeat it three times for each part of your body you know.
Your positive mental command would cause positive changes in your body.The result would depend on your mental concentration.
The best time to do this is just before going to sleep while you are on bed.And just after you awake on your bed.
Apart from this If you want to be totally healthy don’t read newspaper or watch news just after getting up or before going to sleep.Because the news generally filled with negative things now a days.TV channels use to terrify you for raising their popularity.They draw benefits by causing sense of insecurity in you.You become sick mostly due to those negative information taken in morning in blank mind.Or at night just before you sleep whatever your mind takes goes deeper and affects you according to its characteristics.

How to be healthy wealthy and wise!
Thousands of texts have been written on these elements.Here you may find some independence of thoughts.Health as many people think may be found in gym.But before we run in a direction we must know where we are going and what is our goal.To be healthy means to be in a complete physical,mental and social well being and absence of any disease and a healthy person is able to survive in social and cultural mileu.Further a healthy person is able to lead socially and economically productive life.If your body is fit and free from diseases or injury and your mind is in conflict with self,you are not healthy.If violence exists in your mind, you are not healthy.If you don’t respect others’ thought,religion or belief,you are not healthy.If you harm others for your own gain or profit,you are not healthy.Even a single abnormal thought which is against the humanity departs you from the state of health.If you want to be healthy,just start from your mind.Don’t copy others dogma or principles,just ask yourself and you would get answers.Ask yourself,”what I am thinking is wrong or right.”You would surely get the answer.You need to probe yourself deeper and deeper sometimes,because you may have generated a false layer within your mind by the cultural impressions and you try to rationalize with that readymade self.That requires immense practice to do that.That requires the turbulence of your thoughts to be settled.Suppose your deeper self is like a bottom of a pond and you are willing to see that bottom from above the water level.If there is turbulence in that water you won’t be able to visualise the bottom of the pond because of the impurities suspended makes the water turbid.If you succeed to to stop the turbulence of your thoughts,all the suspended impurities settles down and the bottom gets crystal clear for you from the top.Now the question is,how to acquire the calmness of thought?
