Hi guys I am back with another video , so in this video we will be discussing about the growth charts , so what do we mean by growth charts ? Growth charts is the graphical representation of the anthropometric factors , now let us come to know more about the types of growth charts : international growth charts and Indian growth charts . So what are the charts that falls under international growth charts let us come to know more about them , the first one is NCHS which is called national center for Health statistics that is published on 1977 . Centre for disease control and prevention and WHO growth charts . Now the charts which falls under Indian growth charts are, Indian academy of pediatrics, K N Agarwal charts . Now let us come to know more about the WHO growth charts , 5 children from all over the world were involved based on Multinational growth research center and children from six different countries under MGRS were enrolled . Now what are those six different countries? The countries included under MGRS are : Brazil , Oman , Norway , Ghana ,, united stats and India . Only bread feeding babies were enrolled exclusively for the first three months of their life . The factors which were excluded like maternal smoking and alcohol . The WHO growth charts height for age , weight for age , mid arm circumference for age , head circumference for age, skin fold thickness for age , weight for height and major motor development milestones .
