Hi guys I am back with another video , in this video we will understand the invitro fertilization and it’s process, so without any further ado let’s jump into the video , so in the process of invitro fertilization the injections of FSH are given in a higher dose that is 15 times than the normal , so that more number of follicles are recruited and more number of eggs can be produced . So we can see that total 7 to 8 numbers of follicles are recruited in each ovary which causes more production of eggs . Now , how is it done ? Controlled ovarian hyper stimulation are used in invitro fertilization . The more eggs are transferred into the trans vaginal probe and the needle is inserted into the follicle , which causes the aspiration of the oocyte . It is transferred into the test tube and the sperms are inserted which produces embryos and it is transferred back into the uterine cavity . So this is the process of invitro fertilization. In Day 3 ;8 cells; 2 or 3 embryos are implanted . In Day 5; blastocyst 1 or 5 are implanted . The first invitro fertilization baby was Louis brown who was born in 1978 and it was done successfully by Dr Patrick Steptoe , Dr Roberts won novel price in 2010 for scientific research that led to IVF. Extra embryos can be preserved in liquid nitrogen and _192 degrees for 5 to 10 years .
So this is what we have known about this topic , see you in the next video
Thank you !
