{"id":1640,"date":"2024-07-10T11:19:40","date_gmt":"2024-07-10T05:49:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kankarbagh.com\/FMT-IGIMS\/?p=1640"},"modified":"2024-07-10T11:30:28","modified_gmt":"2024-07-10T06:00:28","slug":"new-definition-of-grievous-hurt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kankarbagh.com\/FMT-IGIMS\/2024\/07\/10\/new-definition-of-grievous-hurt\/","title":{"rendered":"NEW DEFINITION OF GRIEVOUS HURT"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>BHARATIYA NYAY SMAHITA 2023 , SEC 116<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following kinds of hurt only are designated as &#8221; grievous&#8221; , namely :-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a) Emasculation;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>b) Permanent privation of the sight of either eye;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>c) Permanent privation of the hearing of either ear ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>d) Privation of any member or joint ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>e) Destruction or permanent impairing of the powers of any member or joint ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>f)  Permanent disfiguration of head or face ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>g) Fracture or dislocation of a bone or tooth ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>h) Any hurt which endangers life or which causes the sufferer to be during the space of fifteen days in severe bodily pain , or unable to follow his ordinary pursuits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p> WHATEVER CAUSES BODILY PAIN , DISEASE OR INFIRMITY TO ANY PERSON IS SAID TO CAUSE HURT .
