OSPE EXAMPLES FOR Forensic Medicine & Toxicology PRACTICAL EXAMINATION

Objective Structured Practical Examination is an essential component of University Practical Examination as per latest NMC Norms. Digitally on screen stations can be created or some small sets of questions may be set and station can be created. Examinee is provided answer book for writing answer at the station and on the spot viva is taken and marking is done. Some examples are following:

STATION  C
A minor girl was  playing in school
premises during Lunch hour. She fell from see- saw and sustained serious head
injury and got unconscious. Her class teacher with the help of school staffs
took her to the nearest hospital. Her parents could not be contacted on
phone. There is a need of urgent neurosurgery. As a doctor you have to do
surgery to save her life.
